A sour-style drink that became popular in the 1920s in Paris and London, known for its balance.

2 oz A de Fussigny Selection Cognac
3/4 oz Cointreau
3/4 oz Lemon Juice

Chill a coupe glass and optionally half rim the glass with sugar for garnish. Add ingredients to shaker with plenty of fresh ice and shake for 10-12 seconds. Strain into chilled coupe. Express a lemon peel for garnish.

1-1/2 oz Laird's Straight Apple Jack 86
1/2 oz Green Chartreuse
1/2 oz Bénédictine D.O.M. Liqueur
2 dash Angostura Original Bitters

Stir for 25-30 seconds and strain into chilled coupe glass. Express an orange peel and garnish with Maraschino cherry.
