Originated at the Detroit Athletic Club around the time of Prohibition and was brought back into the spotlight by Seattle bartender Murray Stenson in the early 2000s.
Ingredients
- 3/4 oz Tanqueray London Dry Gin
- 3/4 oz Green Chartreuse
- 3/4 oz Luxardo Maraschino Originale
- 3/4 oz Lime Juice
Method
Combine in a shaker, shake for 10-12 seconds with ice. Double strain into chilled coupe. No garnish is traditional.
